The Applied Genomics Technology Center (AGTC) employs three methodologies for the determination of DNA quantity: The NanoDrop™ 1000, a UV/VIS spectrophotometry-based method, the Quant-iT™ PicoGreen dsDNA Assay Kit, a fluorescence-based method, and the Quantifiler™ Human DNA Quantification Kit, a 5' nuclease/TaqMan® probe-based method.
